Drama Teacher PRU School Hammersmith
A dynamic Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Hammersmith is looking for a Drama Teacher to join their team. This is an exciting role for a teacher passionate about using drama to help students with behavioural challenges develop social skills confidence and creativity.
Position: Drama Teacher
Type: Fulltime Permanent

This PRU is dedicated to helping students who have been excluded from mainstream education offering a supportive environment where students can reengage with learning. The school values creative approaches to education and encourages innovation in the classroom.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging drama lessons to students with behavioural and emotional difficulties.
- Use drama as a tool to improve social skills confidence and teamwork.
- Work closely with support staff to ensure all students are included and supported.
- Adapt lessons to meet the individual needs of students.
- Monitor and assess student progress providing feedback and encouragement.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Experience teaching drama ideally in a PRU or similar setting.
- Ability to engage students with behavioural difficulties through creative teaching methods.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A clear DBS check.
- Right to work in the UK.
