Overview of the role

The successful candidate will be a competent and proven EC&I Engineer capable of expertise across the lifecycle of EC&I Systems; checking and facilitating designs supporting calculations and technical documents (inc. plans) with minimal supervision. They will have the ability to translate a clients requirements into a meaningful engineering and technical solution. Good communication skills are essential.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the engineering quality of the project ensuring compliance with client specifications and engineering standards and local domain policy and procedures.

• Be responsible for the technical quality of complex fitforpurpose engineering systems.
• Have experience of lifecycle and maturity management.
• Generate and update technical documentation to the clients specification.
• Maintain compliance with engineering standards and applicable legislation.
• Participate in design and system level reviews. ensure that subsequent design meets the project and client requirements.
• Ensure the confidentiality and security of data and information received from clients is upheld.

• Qualified to degree level in an appropriate STEM area.
• Creative problemsolving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent critical thinking skills and a high level of numeracy
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Flexibility and an ability to compromise
