Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) released the follow solicitation #58225EAS1/Technical Writer Opportunity for the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. This is a fully remote position.
Job Description
1. Working with the TCEQ staff to develop technical product documentation for endusers of the Texas Air Emissions Repository (TexAER) database.
2. Developing outlining formatting and producing detailed program and enduser documentation with appropriate visualizations. Documentation may include tutorials user guides troubleshooting manuals and reference manuals.
3. Gathering and documenting staff feedback on draft documents. Incorporate userrequested changes as directed by the supervisor.
4. Producing video tutorials as requested by the program area which meet TCEQ DIR and World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) specifications and standards.
5. Communicating and working with people of all technical levels in a team environment and providing technical support and testing.
