Job Description
Job Title: Quality Engineer
Location: Murfreesboro Tennessee
Job Description:
- The Quality Engineer will assist in designing complex new inspection processes to product standards that meet safety quality and business expectations.
- Assist with gage control calibration and documentation.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities around safety quality and manufacturing processes with emphasis on eliminating process waste.
- The role will use structured quality improvement tools such as PFMEA Control Plans Root Cause Analysis.
- These duties are not meant to be allinclusive and other duties may be assigned.
- Communicate effectively and work interfunctionally with Employee Teams Quality Engineering Global Procurement & Supply Chain (GPSC) and Manufacturing to resolve complex quality related issues deficiencies and improve processes.
- Design Inspection requirement to ensure conformance to engineering standards.
- Update documentation of PFMEA & Control Plans
- Validate dimensional conformance of product to engineering standards.
