Job Description
We bidi Bildung Digital GmbH are a fastgrowing startup with the aim of advancing digital education and educational equality in Germany.
With our bidi web application we enable online tutoring independent of location and time and thus want to make learning more efficient and individual for students and promote educational equality in Germany.
To further advance our ambitious goal we are looking for motivated employees in the area of users and tutors.
What you can expect at bidi
- You will develop and expand the web application based on Angular and Firebase.
- You implement designs transitions and animations with CSS3 and JavaScript to ensure an appealing user experience.
- You actively design new features and modules and plan them technically in close collaboration with the team to drive the product vision forward.
- You integrate external APIs and services to extend the application for example for payment processing or data analysis.
- You manage and optimize databases (e.g. MongoDB Firestore) to ensure efficient data processing and storage.
- You will process support tickets and provide technical support to users including documenting issues and solutions to continuously improve the application.
What you should bring with you
- You have completed an apprenticeship or degree in (media) computer science or a comparable field and have already gained initial professional or practical experience.
- You have solid knowledge of HTML5 CSS3 and JavaScript/TypeScript which will help you to develop appealing and functional user interfaces.
- Your indepth knowledge of JavaScript technologies such as Angular and Firebase allows you to implement innovative solutions and further develop the web application.
- You are familiar with RESTful APIs and are able to successfully integrate external services.
- You are confident and competent with version control (GitLab Git) which helps you to work effectively in a team and optimize the development process.
- You work conscientiously and with a focus on quality helping to ensure the highest standards in software development.
- Your excellent knowledge of German or English will help you to communicate effectively with our team and our users and always create a positive atmosphere
