75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE / RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) NO LOCAL TRAVELERS Please only submit candidates that area aware oftheir submission to our facility. Pleasenote time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to beconsidered for approval. Time off requested after the acceptance date will notbe approved. When submitting candidates include at least two references (one must be from current manager) a resume and completed skills checklist/competency assessment. 13 weeks assignment 2 years experience current required inan 18 plus bed telemetry/progressive care unit required. Must be a team playerflexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one13week travel assignment. At alternate locationWill float to med/surg. Willfloat to ICU to care for tele patients boarding in ICU. Will float to ED tocare for admitted inpatients holding for bed or as helping hands. CERTIFICATIONS: BLS ACLS and NIHSS certifications required. BLS and ACLSmust be completed through American Heart Association American Health andSafety or American Red Cross. EPIC EMR experience preferred. Traveler mustpass the BCA testing during first week of assignment. Travelers that do not passthe BCA test will be dismissed. SHIFTS: 12 hour day shift position Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.On call weekends and holidays required. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanentassigned location. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or sameshifts. Ratios 1:4 will go 1:5/6 if needed based on acuity of patients. ORIENTATION: 1ST week of the contract not to exceed40 total hours and includes EPIC training. SCRUBS: Required and NOT provided bythe facility. White scrub top. Scrub pants in sangria red plum purple huntergreen or black.
