Job Description
Schedule: MonThurs 5am3:30p; OT on Fridays as needed
Primary Purpose:
The Quality Auditor works with quality personnel operations and maintenance employees to audit products and processes. The position collaborates with the Quality Supervisor to implement and maintain Quality Management System documentation as well as maintaining the integrity of the Quality Control Plan Process. This role participates in the development and use of training materials and QMS audits. On the floor with the Operations team 80% of the time.
Job Requirements:
- Place safety first in everything you do
- Develops process documentation consistent with QMS requirements
- Provides training and associated materials
- Participates in product and process audits
- Conducts continual improvement activities
- Supports product and process development activities
- Provides technical support to engineers and operations personnel to ensure production and quality goals of the facility are met
- Supports the evaluation of equipment process and material modifications
- Leads and directs the work of others
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Familiar with Microsoft Office programs including Excel Word and PowerPoint
- Familiar with ERP systems such as QAD (not specifically QAD only)
- Knowledge of Quality processes and practices such as auditing and measurement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid teamwork and collaboration skills
- Courage to exert Stop Work Authority for nonStandard issues lead decisions regarding disposition of materials
