Job TitleManufacturing Test Engineer
Job Location Decatur Illinois Onsite
Job Description & Skill Requirement:
Design develop and implement costeffective repeatable and scalable Testing processes for drivetrain
components
o Knowledge of control system components such as sensors transducers and Gauges.
o Knowledge on PLC or equivalent data acquisition system such as WMA or VMC test systems.
o Develop and implement Test processes in line with Product specification and Caterpillar manufacturing standard processes
o Plan Perform Process design and Analyze requirements to make recommendations for facility systems processes equipment needs and engineering product designs
o Complete both specialized and broadbased assignments / projects which may require collaboration and integration with other functions
o Evaluate projects and prepare feasibility studies to design a test system define desired results assess value proposition and determine project plans
o Analyze Test tooling and Product test failures and evaluate tool characteristics and requirements
o Should support Physical validation.
