Description:
Major Purpose:
Plans coordinates and performs manufacturing engineering work for a project or process. Operates in a team environment within either the enterprise product delivery process or the enterprise order fulfillment process. Projects are of limited scope and responsibility; work plans and decisions are made within established guidelines and may be reviewed by supervisors/managers. May assign coordinate and review portions of the work for support personnel and contractors.This job fully integrates an individual into the engineering culture by performing specific manufacturing engineering assignments that are limited in scope depth and degree of skill required. Uses problemsolving methodology to establish root cause and sustainable corrective action. Work plans and decisions are usually reviewed by others.
Major Duties:
Description of the major duties performed in this job:
- Provides support and basic troubleshooting for current operations. Investigates gathers and analyzes data for specifically assigned recurring tasks.
- Establishes routings methods layouts tools costs methods documentation quality plans and labor standards for revisions to current operations and/or new parts or programs of limited scope.
- Identifies and implements cost reduction quality safety and ergonomic improvement ideas of limited scope.
- Works with electronic tools to perform engineering functions.
- Develops and implements plans of limited scope to support lean manufacturing through the Client Production System. Designs operations layouts to improve material flow and material presentation.
- Participates in team studies related to capacity energy productivity and efficiency.
- Implements new manufacturing processes and technology.
- Modifies existing performance pay plans; assists in the development of baseline data for new wage performance pay plans.
- Learns and uses planning tools and analysis to formulate/facilitate project management for new products within the product delivery order fulfillment or customer support processes.
- Investigates product and process qualityrelated issues and recommends changes to control plans and continuous improvement projects.
- Gathers and analyzes data pertinent to the Enterprise Order Fulfillment Process (EOFP) Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP) and/or Customer Support Process (CSP).
- Inputs and maintains information in factory databases and systems.
- Monitors quality plan tracking system.
- Assists in reviews and investigations of warranty claim information.

Details:
- Shift: 1st Shift (7:00am3:30pm)
- Hours: 40 hours per week with occasional overtime that may result in up to 50 hours per week
- Location: 100% On Site Role in Greeneville TN
- Other: Metatarsals are not required on the first day of work. Client will provide metatarsals as needed.
Requirements/Preferences:
Education Preferred:
Bachelors degree in an engineeringrelated field
Experience Preferred in the following areas:
Manufacturing Engineering Quality Engineering Industrial Engineering (open to recent graduates)
