Job Title: Motor Vehicle Technician
Location: Crawley RH10 9LW
Salary: 36000 Bonus OTE
Full Time and Permanent working 4 days a week
Our client is an automotive retailer representing prestigious luxury car Brands throughout the South of the UK who are currently recruiting an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician for their Crawley dealership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Using diagnostic equipment and a systematic approach ensure vehicle faults are diagnosed and rectified. Meet with customers to identify and clearly understand problems as and when required.
- Ensure full understanding of the latest technology introduced on the vehicle range and how to diagnose and repair faults on them.
- Carry out diagnosis repairs and servicing to the highest standards and to the appropriate specification.
- Liaise and seek advice from colleagues and supervisors in situations that are over and above the work specified.
- Check the level and quality of work through the use of diagnostic equipment and roadtesting vehicles after work has been carried out. Liaise with Service Advisor.
- Complete relevant service documentation (job sheets PDIs service reports) in line with brand standards warranty and site requirements.
- Complete vehicle health checks and CitNOW video in a timely manner (or equivalent).
Requirements:
- The knowledge to use modern diagnostic equipment.
- The capability of working to the highest quality standards.
- Great communication skills.
- A full UK driving license.
- Experience within a main automotive dealer is preferable but not essential.
- VOSAapproved MOT testers an advantage but not essential.
- Must hold Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair NVQ or equivalent.
