Job Description

SpeechLanguage Pathologist (SLP) Empower Students to Succeed!

Are you passionate about helping students unlock their full potential We re looking for a dedicated SpeechLanguage Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic team! In this role you will take the lead in creating individualized education plans (IEPs) and work handinhand with parents educators and support staff to help students overcome speech and language challenges.

As part of our team you will not only diagnose and treat speech delays but also grow professionally through exciting Professional Development opportunities offered by our school district.

Job Snapshot:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of students speech language and communication abilities.
  • Provide targeted therapy either individually or in small groups to address specific communication goals.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans for a range of speech and language disorders such as articulation fluency voice and comprehension issues.
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings collaborating with the team to set meaningful goals and design appropriate interventions for each student.
  • Work closely with teachers parents and other educational staff to seamlessly integrate speech and language strategies into students daily routines and academic plans.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records of assessments therapy sessions progress reports and other essential documentation to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines.

Requirements

  • Must hold ASHA certification.
  • Eligible for or already hold an SLP license in Illinois.
  • A Masters Degree in Speech Pathology or a related field is required.
