Location: Richmond VA (23219)
Client: State of Virginia
Duration: 12 Months
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled IT Security Architect to join our team focusing on security architecture and IT governance. The ideal candidate will analyze business needs and develop essential technology deliverables to enhance security compliance and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create comprehensive documentation for various technical audiences.
- Provide strategic consultation on data security and implement security patterns.
- Conduct risk analyses and ensure alignment with security policies/standards.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support agency KPIs.
- Monitor IT environments for compliance with security architecture policies.
Required Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of security best practices and frameworks (NIST COBIT).
- Experience in IT governance and compliance.
- Proficiency in business writing and presenting.
- Substantial experience in cloud technologies identity & access management and vulnerability management.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in simple terms.
