Job Title: Usability Engineer / Human Factors Engineer
Location: Plymouth MN
Mode of Hire: Contract
Education: Bachelors degree in relevant field required Masters degree preferred
Experience: 46 years in Human Factors / Usability engineering and/or Product Design Development with medical devices
Key Responsibilities: Support Project Managers and R&D teams in establishing Human Factors and Usabilityrelated requirements serve as enduser advocate assist in ensuring design testing and documentation are fully compliant with relevant standards collaborate with various teams in identifying users and use environments and draft usability reports and other documentation
Requirements: Strong understanding of medical device product design and regulatory processes excellent communication and writing skills experience with medical device design and development processes understanding of system electrical and mechanical design experience with complex electromechanical systems experience working with thirdparty service providers and external certification laboratories experience conducting and reporting on usability evaluations knowledge of bestpractice product.
