Job Description
Job Title: COBIT Consultant
Location: Plano TX (Hybrid)
Job type: FullTime
Job description:
- Framework Implementation and Management: Implement and manage the COBIT framework and ITSM processes to ensure IT services align with business objectives. Develop strategies to integrate these frameworks into existing IT infrastructure effectively.
- Process Development: Define document and standardize ITSM and COBIT processes. Ensure all IT service management processes are designed according to best practices and organizational requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously assess and improve ITSM and COBIT processes. Utilize feedback and performance data to optimize operations reduce costs and enhance service delivery.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with IT and business stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure the ITSM and COBIT frameworks meet those needs. Facilitate communication between IT and other departments to promote IT service awareness and engagement.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to IT staff and endusers on the effective use of ITSM practices and COBIT principles. Develop educational materials and conduct workshops to enhance understanding and skills related to these frameworks.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Monitor compliance with established ITSM and COBIT processes. Identify and mitigate risks associated with IT processes and service delivery.
- Performance Measurement: Define and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) for ITSM and COBIT processes. Regularly report on these metrics to senior management to inform decisionmaking and strategic planning.
- Project Management: Lead and manage projects related to the development and implementation of ITSM and COBIT frameworks. Ensure projects are delivered on time within scope and on budget while meeting or exceeding quality standards
