Job Description
Job Title: Windows Admin
Location: REMOTE
Mode : Contract
Roles and responsibilities
- Provide administration of servers in a virtualized server environment using VMware and or HyperV management tools
- Provide administration of Windows Server 2008 and 2012 in a virtualized server environment i.e. Microsoft Azure or Amazon AWS
- Provide implementation and administration of DNS and associated networking services
- Effectively monitor Windows Servers using advanced builtin features as well as 3rd party tools
- Troubleshoot server system problems utilizing available tools and working in coordination with other internal groups and vendor provided technical support resources
- Troubleshoot networking issues related to routing firewalls and DMZ architecture
- Work with other unit members to monitor and ensure compliance with corporate security policies.
- Use a systematic disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving
- Document complex system configurations processes and procedures
Certifications:
- MCSE and MCSA
- Experience in cloud platform AWS and Azure preferred
