We are seeking a highly experienced Architect/Data Engineer with 12 to 15 years of experience to join our team.
This role requires a deep understanding of data architecture and the ability to design and implement robust data solutions.
The position operates during day shifts and does not require travel.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design and implementation of scalable data architectures using Hadoop and Amazon Redshift.
Oversee the development and maintenance of data pipelines to ensure efficient data flow and processing.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to enhance system performance and reliability.
Conduct regular performance tuning and troubleshooting to address any issues in the data architecture.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data architecture processes and best practices.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve data solutions.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure highquality deliverables.
Implement data governance policies to maintain data integrity and accuracy.
Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize and manage datarelated projects effectively.
Utilize advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to derive insights from large datasets.
Qualifications:
Possess a minimum of 12 years of experience in data architecture and related fields.
Demonstrate extensive experience with Hadoop and Amazon Redshift.
Exhibit strong problemsolving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
Showcase excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Have a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable data solutions.
Display a deep understanding of data security and compliance requirements.
Show proficiency in performance tuning and optimization of data systems.
Demonstrate the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data architecture.
Possess strong documentation skills to maintain comprehensive records of data processes.
Exhibit experience in implementing data governance policies.
Have a background in utilizing advanced analytics and machine learning techniques.
