Job Description

Summary: The Windows Compliance Remediation Engineer is responsible for reviewing security reports identifying compliance violations and implementing remediation plans on Windows systems. The role focuses on maintaining security benchmarks and ensuring regulatory compliance through collaboration with system administrators. Strong Windows administration and security expertise are essential along with analytical skills for troubleshooting and resolving compliance issues.

Position Info:

  • Title: Windows Compliance Remediation Engineer
  • Client: State Street Bank / Allegis / IQ Navigator (One Lincoln)
  • Duration:6 Months
  • Location:BOSTON MA
  • Work Mode: Remote

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze system security reports to identify compliance violations on Windows operating systems.
  • Develop and implement remediation plans to address compliance issues and ensure security benchmarks are met.
  • Collaborate with system administrators to ensure successful implementation of remediation efforts.
  • Troubleshoot complex compliance failures and identify root causes.
  • Document remediation procedures and communicate findings effectively.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Required:
  • 5 years of Active Directory and Windows administration troubleshooting and security experience.
  • 5 years of experience with security implementations on Windows systems.
  • Strong knowledge of PowerShell and Linux shell scripting (e.g. Python).
