Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Certified Medical Assistant located in Robbinsdale MN. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing highquality patient care and assisting healthcare providers in a fastpaced clinical setting. This is a fulltime position with a 40hour work week.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform clinical duties such as taking vital signs administering medications and assisting with procedures
Prepare patients for exams and procedures
Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records
Coordinate patient appointments and referrals
Assist with front desk duties such as answering phones scheduling appointments and verifying insurance information
Follow all safety and infection control protocols
Communicate effectively with patients healthcare providers and other team members
Qualifications:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment
Proficiency in electronic health record systems
Basic computer skills
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
