Job Description:
As a Business Analyst your primary role will be to work with users to collect thorough functional requirements in the areas of fleet optimization labor costs warehouse operations routing and delivery with a focus on designing a data analytics and reporting platform. This platform should be accessible for analysts and integrated with Power BI reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business objectives business intelligence platforms and analytics.
Primary Responsibilities:
Collect analyze and document thorough functional requirements for the design of a data analytics and reporting platform.
Work crossfunctionally across multiple departments to understand and gather business requirements.
Translate user requirements into technical specifications to guide the development of the analytics platform.
Collaborate with data analysts and Power BI developers to ensure the platform meets business and reporting needs.
Design develop and establish KPIs that provide insights into business operations.
Facilitate meetings with various key partners from multiple business areas to discuss platform improvements and determine best solutions.
Communicate insights to stakeholders both verbally and in writing.
Work collaboratively with the IT and data teams to ensure platform integrity and security.
Oversee the testing and maintenance of the platform including new and existing functionality.
Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience in business analysis data analytics or related fields.
Proficient with business intelligence platforms especially Power BI.
Experience with process development process improvement and change management initiatives.
Understanding of warehouse management transportation supply chain and logistics planning.
Strong knowledge of data analysis data modeling and database design.
Proficient in technical writing.
Bachelors Degree preferred in Business Information Systems Computer Science or related field or equivalent years of workrelated experience.
Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel Word and Outlook.
