Job Description

Construction Project Manager

Boxman Studios is currently seeking a Construction Project Manager to join our team.

Overview

In this role you will plan construction projects and oversee their progress from start to finish in a timely and costeffective manner. Your key responsibilities will include budgeting organization implementation and scheduling.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for estimating all new build opportunities
  • Responsible for setting up and running all meetings between Franchises Structural MEP Civil Engineering General Contractor and Internal Team.
  • Responsible for all subcontractor contracts developing executing and maintaining.
  • Manage the assignment of staffing materials and equipment to maximize efficiency and maintain schedules to meet budget goals.
  • Foresee possible problem areas and take preventative action to meet critical milestones for each project phase.
  • Serve as the primary contact with client representatives and subcontractors for constructionrelated activities.
  • Maintain strong Client and community relations.
  • Confirm material takeoffs and manage onsite inventory.
  • Identify and communicate potential changes in order details as required for processing.
  • Ensure project data integrity and documentation are accurate timely and coordinated.
  • Track the progress of each project against goals objectives approved budgets and approved timelines.
  • Report the status and variances of each project.
  • Create action plans to meet each projects objectives budget and schedule.
  • Frequently inspect projects to verify that work in progress is proceeding and/or completed according to company specs and quality workmanship. Proactively identify possible construction delays and communicate with the Client.
  • Ensure projects maintain job site cleanliness and meet company quality standards.
  • Confirm that job sites comply with OSHA local city state and federal guidelines.

Requirements

  • Proven working experience in construction management
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Expert knowledge of building products construction details and relevant rules regulations and quality standards
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word Excel Projects and Procore software.
  • Understanding all facets of the construction process
  • Familiarity with construction management software packages
  • BS degree in construction management architecture engineering or a related field
