Job Overview:
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with strong expertise in Project Management HVAC design Plumbing design and handson experience with AutoCAD and Revit. In addition to a deep understanding of mechanical systems the candidate should have Application Support and People Management experience. Proficiency in distributed systems and cloud technologies is a plus. A BA in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required along with at least 6 years of production support experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead mechanical engineering projects from concept to completion with a focus on HVAC and plumbing design.
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers ensuring high performance and professional development.
- Provide technical support and manage production issues related to mechanical systems.
- Prepare detailed design drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Analyze mechanical systems using tools like TRACE700 CHVAC7.0 and AIRMaster.
- Oversee the implementation and troubleshooting of distributed systems including Unix Linux Windows SQL/PLSQL.
- Ensure system reliability providing production support for both inhouse and cloudbased solutions.
- Collaborate across teams to deliver effective mechanical solutions while maintaining compliance with local regulations.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Unix Linux Windows and SQL/PLSQL.
- Cloud technologies experience is preferred including AWS services (S3 EC2 Lambda SQS IAM roles) Azure OpenShift RDS Aurora and Postgres.
- Handson experience managing distributed systems and providing production support in realtime environments.
Qualifications:
- BA in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Masters preferred).
- Minimum of 6 years of production support experience in relevant systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit and mechanical design tools like TRACE700 CHVAC7.0 and AIRMaster.
- Handson experience with distributed systems (Unix Linux Windows SQL/PLSQL).
- People management experience with a proven track record of leading teams.
- Experience with cloud technologies is highly preferred.
Preferred:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Experience in HVAC and plumbing design for largescale projects.
- Familiarity with sustainable and energyefficient mechanical design practices.
