Test Engineer

The Autonomous Vehicles team is searching for an experienced test technician / engineer to support our new autonomous driving features development. We are the leading artificial intelligence computing company and are paving the way with innovations in gaming visualization supercomputing and selfdriving cars. As a key member of our Autonomous Vehicles team you will be supporting the software testing of our autonomous driving software stack. NVIDIA gives automakers Tier 1 suppliers automotive research institutions and startups the power and flexibility to develop and deploy breakthrough artificial intelligence systems for selfdriving vehicles. Today we are working with over 270 partners that are using our platform in the development of autonomous cars trucks shuttles and taxis. What youll be doing: Support testing and quality assessment of AV and ADAS features. Develop and document test procedures Perform incar testing and record test results Work with operation team to arrange logistics for testing Report product issues in a timely and structured manner using issue management system (JIRA) Work closely with product team to keep a pulse on overall product health What we need to see: Experience with testing and validating automotive systems or similar robotic applications Proven track record of creating test plans executing test cases to collect product health metric and reporting it back with detailed documentation Excellent communication skills Self driven and on the go problem solving skills Valid drivers license Onsite availability Tech savvy and able to learn tools fast Team/Culture Fit Profile: Partner closely with project managers and program managers Run daily activities for testing operations Run tests on each vehicle and provide detailed data and reports Identify software that needs to be tested and communicate findings with team and necessary departments 12 years of experience working with software systems (w/ bachelors degree) Open to candidates without a bachelors degree that have prior experience running vehicles on tests will need 35 years of experience Software/Proficiencies: Command Line C Python ADAS
