ConocoPhillips is seeking a talented Solution Architect to join our team. This role primarily supports the IT and Business Intelligence teams by developing and improving integrated data solutions while communicating architectural strategies. As a Solution Architect you will collaborate with various stakeholders both internally (e.g. Business Intelligence Data Engineering and Integration Engineering Teams) and externally (thirdparty partners) to identify design and implement solutions that align with the future state of our systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and contribute to the assigned domain architecture roadmap while working closely with the architecture team.
Participate in highlevel design and exploration of alternative solutions for the domain.
Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to ensure solution and integration standards are followed.
Create and improve essential solution documentation including design patterns and key decisions.
Ensure compliance with critical NonFunctional Requirements (NFRs) related to security performance scalability and user experience.
Research new technologies to keep the organization aligned with industry trends and improvements.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with Enterprise Architecture Team on innovative ideas.
Design and implement solutions for business intelligence and data science initiatives.
Develop and maintain data flow and process diagrams advising project teams on integration and data technologies.
Requirements:
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Ability to work independently and ensure highquality deliverables.
Excellent communication skills to engage with both technical and nontechnical audiences.
Advanced knowledge in Visio Draw.io or similar graphical modeling tools.
Experience with DevOps cloud platforms microservice architecture and MVC frameworks.
Familiarity with AWS Kubernetes Docker Java and JavaScript.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
US Residency or Citizenship Required
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree in a related field or an MBA.
Experience with largescale projects project management and architectural methodologies.
Knowledge of the insurance industry particularly technologies like GuideWire or Duck Creek.
