Job Title: Box Truck Dispatcher
Location: Remote
Compensation: Commissionbased
Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Box Truck Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in dispatching especially with partial load experience and the ability to coordinate shipments and maximize efficiency. This is a commissionbased role perfect for someone who is resultsdriven and enjoys a fastpaced work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule dispatch and manage box truck drivers ensuring timely pickups and deliveries
- Monitor driver routes and resolve any issues in realtime
- Coordinate partial loads combining shipments efficiently to optimize space and reduce costs
- Maintain effective communication with drivers customers and other team members
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
- Track and document load information including delivery schedules trip logs and mileage
- Work closely with other dispatchers and logistics personnel to enhance operational efficiency
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Box Truck Dispatcher or similar role
- Strong familiarity with partial load dispatching and experience in coordinating multiple shipments
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficiency with dispatch software and related technology
- Strong problemsolving abilities and a proactive approach to handling issues
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal
