Contract Details: Fulltime Permanent
Confident Staff Solutions a leading healthcare staffing agency is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant. As a Certified Medical Assistant you will play a vital role in providing quality care to patients and supporting healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
Take and record patient vital signs medical history and other relevant information
Perform basic lab tests and collect specimens
Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
Prepare and maintain examination rooms and equipment
Assist with patient education and followup instructions
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records
Communicate effectively with patients healthcare providers and other team members
Adhere to all safety and infection control policies and procedures
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a Certified Medical Assistant program
Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting
Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
BLS certification preferred
