Education: Bachelors degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
Experience: 5 years in circuit board design and development (discrete logic RF PCBs).
Skills: Proficient in schematic capture and PCB layout using Altium; circuit simulation using LT Spice or similar tools.
HandsOn Experience: With singleboard computers microcontrollers FPGAs and RF components.
Knowledge: Ability to read datasheets and use electronic test equipment (logic analyzers oscilloscopes spectrum analyzers).
Programming: Proficient in languages like C Python or MATLAB; experience with FPGA programming (VHDL or Verilog) is a plus.
Technical Proficiency: Fluent in Linux Windows and Mac OS; skilled with Microsoft Office (Excel Project PowerPoint Word).
Communication: Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

With Series A funding and plans for Series B this is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative team.
As a Senior Electrical Engineer youll play a multifaceted role focusing on the analysis design implementation and optimization of subsystems for our nanosatellite bus and communications payload. Youll collaborate with other engineers to design and assemble circuit boards and engage in the iterative design integration and testing of our hardware and software.
Design & Development: Design spacecraft bus and payload hardware (e.g. FPGAs sensors amplifiers) and associated software.
Circuit Board Work: Create schematics select components develop layouts assemble and test circuit boards.
Firmware Development: Generate firmware and test software for circuit boards.
Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for spacecraft design.
Design Reviews: Participate in design reviews at all levels and document failure analyses.
Collaboration: Assist mechanical engineers with the integration of components considering thermal requirements.
Integration & Testing: Support payload integration testing and delivery to launch partners/vendors.
