General Qualifications (Required)

• Experience: Developing software for 2G and/or LTE networks.

• Protocol Knowledge: Implementation testing and quality assurance of protocol stacks.

• Wireless Networking: Strong knowledge of one wireless technology (GSM GPRS LTE 5G standards access/core network protocols).

• Core Network Knowledge: Familiarity with core network function blocks (CM MM Authentication HRL VLR).

• Messaging and Call Processing: Understanding across telecom network nodes.

• HandsOn Experience: Implementing core network protocol stacks coding across the full stack strong Linux administration (including scripting).

• OpenSource Collaboration: Experience with opensource tools and source code control systems (Git/GitLab).

• Programming Skills: Proficiency in C/C Python and debugging tools.

Job Summary

As a Network Software Engineer you will play a crucial role in the software development team contributing to the design development integration and testing of endtoend network applications across multiple 3GPP technologies. Youll write and implement software that serves as the backbone for establishing the worlds first 3GPP NTN infrastructure (spacebased cellular network).

Core Responsibilities

• Network Protocols: Design and implement protocols for spacebased cellular networks.

• Network Software: Develop software for signaling and O&M operations.

• Testing Systems: Create and implement software testing systems.

Specific Qualifications (Desired)

• Advanced C: Strong modern coding and design patterns.

• Debugging Skills: Proficient with tools like gdb and valgrind.

• Programming Techniques: Socket and multithreaded programming distributed architecture.

• System Integration: Experience with endtoend deployment of wireless network systems (GSM 4G/LTE 5G).

• Mobility Management: Familiarity with handover procedures and radio resource management.

• Telecom Protocols: Knowledge of SS7 SIGTRAN VLR HLR MSC and other telecom protocols.

• Network Security: Understanding of NFV cloud architecture and IoT communication.
