Job Description

Korzen Health is working with the partnership of Healogics to find a Post Acute Nurse Practitioner.

We are looking to add an experienced NP to cover local SNFs 2 days per week. Procedure experience within the last 2 years is required. For example: sutures central lines intubations and anything that would be very specialized.

This is a part time 2 days/week position flexible hours. PostAcute Care wound care program located in Syracuse NY. This is 100% wound care position. 52 hours of paid training included.

This is a mobile position. We have 2 days of work in Syracuse NY. You will be traveling to skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) to provide wound care to patients.

Scope of Practice Includes:

  • You will average around 1820 patients a day.
  • Performing basic wound care (dressing changes chemical debridement) with some minor procedures.
  • This will be a parttime 2 day a week job. No Nights No Call No weekends. Flexible.
  • Compensation Model is salary with RVU after 1 year.
  • You will work with Adult and Geriatric patients.

Wound Care Nurse Practitioner and Experience Requirements

  • State License
  • DEA License
  • SNF or Wound Care Exp a Plus
  • ED or Urgent Care experience is a plus!
  • 1 year of NP experience is a must
