**Must relocate to Syracuse Uniondale Buffalo or Fishkill. This is an in office position.**

Note: The compensation range of $100000 $220000 includes both salary and bonuses and is dependent on experience.

Job Description:

• Immediate hire for a highly motivated civil Trial Attorney with 15 years of experience.

• Handle cases from inception through trial preparation including drafting discovery pleadings and motions and taking and defending depositions.

• Develop and implement winning strategies for clients.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Must have at least 1 year of insurance defense experience

• 15 years of civil litigation experience preferred.

• Strong academic record.

• Proven writing skills and a talent for courtroom advocacy.

• Licensed to practice in New York State.

• Experience:

3. Compensation and Benefits

• Salary:

  • New associates: $100k.

  • $100k $120k plus productivity bonuses each December.

• Bonuses:

  • Articulated by the partner Edward (Ted).

  • Endofyear bonuses range from $15k$30k with potential up to $100k.

• Location:

  • Full onsite position with some flexibility (e.g. work from home 12 days occasionally).

• Work Hours:

  • Flexible hours; work any time as long as the job is done.

  • No established billable hours requirements but billables are tracked.

• Office Dynamics:

  • Professional conduct and freedom in work style.
