About the Role:
Were on the hunt for a dynamic Senior Tax Accountant transitioning to Tax Manager to join the hive. In this role youll take ownership of tax return preparation and review tax planning and client management utilizing your expertise in public accounting and tax regulations. Your Mission:

• Prepare and review tax returns ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist in tax planning and strategy working with the team for optimization and compliance.
• Collaborate closely with the current Tax Manager to ensure a smooth transition into a managerial role.
• Stay updated with tax laws and regulations to maintain compliance and best practices.
• Manage relationships providing exceptional service and support.

Core Competencies:

• Tax Preparation and Review: Expertise in individual and business tax return processes.
• Relationship Management: Exceptional service and relationshipbuilding skills.
• Tax Strategy and Planning: Skilled in creating efficient tax strategies.
• Regulatory Compliance: Knowledgeable in GAAP and tax law regulations.

What You Bring:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years in public accounting with at least 2 years as a Senior Tax Accountant.
• CPA or EA certification required.
• Must reside within a 1hour commute to Glendale CA.

Skills Required:

• Tax Compliance & Filing: Proficient in federal state and local tax laws.
• Relationship Management: Skilled in maintaining and growing professional relationships.
• Financial Analysis & Planning: Expertise in financial forecasting and tax strategy.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP and tax regulations.

Certifications:

• CPA or EA certification required.

Education:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.

• Competitive salary: $120000 $130000
