Job Description

Position Overview: As a Private Equity Associate you will play a crucial role in the investment process by conducting financial analysis performing due diligence and supporting deal execution. You will work closely with senior team members to evaluate investment opportunities and contribute to the overall success of the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Analysis:

    • Conduct comprehensive financial modeling and valuation analysis to assess potential investment opportunities.
    • Analyze historical financial statements and forecast future performance.
  2. Due Diligence:

    • Assist in the due diligence process by researching industries markets and companies.
    • Collaborate with thirdparty advisors and consultants to gather necessary data.
  3. Investment Committee Presentations:

    • Prepare investment memoranda and presentations for the investment committee.
    • Clearly communicate investment thesis and rationale to senior team members.
  4. Portfolio Management:

    • Monitor the performance of portfolio companies analyzing key performance indicators and identifying areas for improvement.
    • Support the development and execution of value creation strategies.
  5. Market Research:

    • Stay up to date with market trends competitive landscape and regulatory changes affecting the investment landscape.
    • Conduct sectorspecific research to identify new investment opportunities.
  6. Networking and Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain relationships with industry professionals intermediaries and potential investment targets.
    • Participate in industry conferences and networking events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business or a related field; MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred.
  • 24 years of experience in private equity investment banking or management consulting.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel PowerPoint and financial analysis software.

Salary:

  • The salary for a Private Equity Associate typically ranges from $100000 to $150000 per year depending on the firms size location and individual experience. Additionally associates often receive performancebased bonuses which can significantly increase total compensation.
