Description:

• A thorough understanding of aircraft structures and mechanical systems coupled with the ability to interpret aircraft structural & mechanical engineering blueprints and other aviation technical documents to write in clear and concise language aircraft work instructions enabling structural electrical avionics and general maintenance technicians to perform aircraft maintenance modifications repairs and overhaul.
• Written instructions may also include requirements for parts fabrication.
• Written documents also include required support and test equipment tooling materials and labor budgets.
• The planner/technical writer leads sessions to gain the stakeholder approvals of Operations Engineering Quality and Customers.
• Additional responsibilities include incorporation of approved changes from stakeholders and to referenced technical data.
