Job Description
Job Location: Qatar
Envisaged Starting Date: ASAP
Duration: 15 months liable to extension according to your performance and project needs;
Standard Working Schedule: 9 hours a day / 5 days a week;
Rotation: Resident.
Contract: local employment 30 days holiday/year
JOB DESCRIPTION:BUILDING / ARCHITECTURAL ENGINEER
Mission:
Perform technical tasks assigned by the Project Specialist Leader related with design verification
or study activities
Interface with other Project Specialists and Designers
Coordinate technical activities performed inside or outside the Company
Tasks:
A. Development Technology know how and Commercial support
Provide technical support
B. Feasibility
Provide technical support
C. Bidding phase/Commercial proposal development
Review/clarification/qualifications of Tender technical documents
Define list of activities and deliverables coordinate activities in accordance with Project schedule
Identify technical queries deviations and alternatives to be submitted
Implement the bidding methodologies the design criteria and guidelines
Assist proposal team with request for quotation for commercial purpose
Coordinate material quantities estimation
Assist PSL in preparing engineering manhours and items and material costs estimations
Discuss with client / attend to clarification meetings
D. Project Execution (Job progress and completion)
Review Clients technical documentation and requirements.
Maintain project technical files
Coordination of external architectural engineering subcontractor and control of subcontracted
architectural engineering documents inside SAIPEM group.
Set up and executes assigned engineering activities such as detail design verification and studies
relevant to any engineering topic associated to Discipline pursuing objectives of sound engineering
and design optimization in term of costs fabrication simplicity and safety
Prepare design specifications for architectural works for buildings and cooperates in preparing
design specifications for civil works relevant to buildings
Develop functional layout of buildings based on multidisciplinary input.
Prepare material spec.s and architectural basis of design for buildings
Support TM/PSL in technical interface with Client
Prepare MTOs and BOQs
Prepare MR & TBE of Architectural for Building
Review Vendor documents related to Architectural
Support Procurement in technical interface with Architectural vendors
Actively participation in 3D model review with Client and internally within SAIPEM group for clash
free model.
Coordinate & prepare Technical Query SDR COR
Support TM/ PSL during design reviews 3D Model reviews Safety Studies etc
Support / Technical Interface with Fabrication team for Architectural outfitting works for Greenfield
and Brownfield Buildings
Buildings:
Onshore: plant & nonplant buildings;
Offshore: accommodation modules and technical buildings
