Role: Squad Lead (Balticsbased preferably Estonia)
Duration: 6 months
Role Overview:We are looking for an experienced Squad Lead based in the Baltics (preferably Estonia) to manage and coordinate a squad within a software development environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management or Scrum Mastering with an emphasis on overseeing crossfunctional teams managing dependencies and ensuring smooth execution of project priorities. This position requires working closely with the project stakeholders handling squad impediments and maintaining the Jira board and backlog to ensure optimal squad performance.
Main Responsibilities:
- Facilitate squad meetings and ensure effective communication within the team
- Maintain and organize the Jira board and backlog
- Coordinate and guide the team through project tasks and deliverables
- Report priorities and updates from the project to the squad
- Remove obstacles that may impact the squads progress
- Manage interdependencies between multiple squads
- Ensure alignment of team efforts with project goals and timelines
MustHave Requirements:
- Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in Project Management or Scrum Mastering specifically in software development
- Handson experience with Atlassian Jira
- Location: Based in the Baltics
- Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication in English
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Proficiency in project management tasks such as RAID reporting conflict resolution and stakeholder management
Preferred Requirements:
- Industry Experience:
- Experience working in the Banking/Finance field ideally with Payments products
- Technical Knowledge:
- Familiarity with Oracle FlexCube or experience working with Oracle as a software vendor
- Knowledge of SDLC/PDLC processes
- Framework Experience:
- Experience with the Tribe/Squad Model framework
- Certification:
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
