ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking a dedicated Structural Engineer to join our team at our Rockville MD office. In this role you will be responsible for contributing your expertise to a variety of engineering projects and ensure project success.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform structural calculations to assess project feasibility and safety.
- Conduct indepth structural analysis to determine the integrity and stability of various structures.
- Utilize computeraided design (CAD) software to develop accurate and detailed engineering designs.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports and construction documentation.
- Provide engineering support during the construction phase addressing issues as they arise.
- Coordinate with architects contractors and other engineering professionals to deliver successful project outcomes.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong foundation in structural engineering including calculations and analysis.
- Proficiency in CAD software for designing and drafting structural plans.
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with construction industry standards regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective project coordination.
- Bachelors degree in Structural Engineering Civil Engineering or a related field.
- A Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required.
