Job Description
Position: Behavioral Health RN
Location: Brattleboro VT
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night 3x12s
Responsibilities:
- Conducting patient assessments making diagnoses and developing comprehensive treatment plans.
- Collaborating with family members counselors physicians and other healthcare professionals to create holistic patient care strategies.
- Integrating traditional nursing methodologies with innovative techniques for optimal patient outcomes.
- Offering support and guidance to patients caregivers and families throughout the healthcare journey.
- Documenting detailed progress notes and adjusting treatment plans based on ongoing assessments.
- Motivating and encouraging patients particularly during challenging phases of their recovery.
- Managing patient databases and meticulously updating medical records.
- Staying informed about advancements in nursing practices and the broader medical field.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience as an RN required (recent experience must be within the last 3 months) REQUIRED
- Must have adolescent/child psych experience REQUIRED
- BLS
- Compact or VT RN license Required
