Job Description
Job Description – AWS Senior Admin
• AWS Cloud Infrastructure engineer with 6 – 10 years of experience
• Knowledge of cloud technologies (specifically AWS) including enterprise or hosting provider services SaaS PaaS and IaaS Solutions.
• Knowledge of cloud system engineering principles and considerations
• Experience with PowerShell PowerShell Workflow and troubleshooting PowerShell ISE
• Knowledge of IT security risks
• Experience in AWS Cloud deployment and troubleshooting
• Experience in Windows and Linux system administration.
• Background with Active Directory Services including DNS DHCP and DFS.
• Experience administering AWS Services: AWS Connect AWS Lambda AWS Databases AWS S3 AWS Key Management Service Direct Connect EC2 VPC etc.
• Proficient with AWS Security services and AWS Cloud watch: Network Application Infrastructure.
• Excellent knowledge of federated identity systems (Microsoft ADFS) multifactor authentication and Microsoft AD Integration with Cloud Applications/Microsoft Azure Active Directory.
• Functional knowledge of AWS Network.
• Handson experience with Continuity of Operations/Disaster Recovery architecture planning and deployment.
• Define and implement AWS cloudbased solution architectures
• Ability to monitor & troubleshoot AWS cloudbased systems for availability performance reliability security etc. using tools like AWS Cloudwatch AWS CLoudTrail Dynatrace AppDynamics etc.
• Utilize automation tools such as AWS Cloud Formation and/or Terraform
• Assist with upgrading installing and configuring monitoring solutions for AWS IaaS Windows and Linux servers and PaaS services like AWS SQL Amazon Connect
• Maintain cloud network configurations and network diagrams
• Report on current infrastructure status and planning for future usage
• Excellent written verbal and presentation skills; ability to effectively explain complex technical concepts.
