Job Description
Position: Welder
Pay: 25 DOE
Type: TemptoHire
Location: Bakersfield CA
Schedule: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Our end client is looking for an organized and motivated Welder.
We expect our team members to have attention to detail and comply with our safety practices to ensure the quality of each weld and the safety of the workplace.
Responsibilities:
- Joins fabricates and repairs metal and other weld able material by applying appropriate welding techniques
- Welds components and parts in accordance with Western Valve welding procedures
- Must understand how to interpret and use blueprints welding specifications and Western Valve s welding procedures
- Inspects completed welds to determine structural soundness.
- Use a grinder to grind welds and De burr
- Training in GMAW and GTAW welding procedures
- Read and understand routers and fill out as required
- Basic operations of overhead cranes
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- Preferred 35 years of experience
- Knowledge of TIG welding preferred
- Attention to detail required
- The ability to think critically innovate and solve problems.
- Effective time management and logical decisionmaking ability.
