The Role:
As a Principal Software Engineer at CEPRES you will serve as a technical leader driving the design development and implementation of advanced software solutions that power our financial software suite. This position demands deep technical expertise an innovative mindset and the ability to influence and guide engineering practices across the team. You will be pivotal in solving complex technical challenges setting coding standards and ensuring the scalability and performance of our systems. In collaboration with crossfunctional teams you will contribute to the strategic direction of our technology stack and product offerings fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
In this role you will:
- Lead the architecture design and implementation of scalable and highperformance software solutions.
- Work closely with Product Management and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Mentor and guide engineers in best practices code reviews and professional development
- Collaborate with Tech Leads to ensure consistency and quality across the codebase.
- Drive the adoption of new technologies and practices that enhance product quality and development efficiency.
- Engage in technical planning and contribute to the technical roadmap to align with the companys strategic goals.
- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues ensuring the reliability and security of our applications.
- Advocate for and implement continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department.
Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related technical field with extensive experience in software development and architecture.
- Bring at least 8 years of experience in software engineering demonstrating a strong background in designing and implementing complex software systems.
- Exhibit expertlevel proficiency in one or more programming languages such as TypeScript C# or similar with a deep understanding of modern software development practices and tools.
- Showcase a proven track record in technical leadership roles with excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to lead and inspire engineering teams.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills capable of articulating technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Hold experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure) and a solid understanding of DevOps practices CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
- Have Agile or Scrum experience indicating familiarity with iterative development processes and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Possess a passion for innovation staying abreast of emerging technologies and trends and a readiness to contribute to the company s longterm success.
