Job Description
Our client is a Top AV Commercial Integrator in Texas and is seeking a talented Hybrid Programmer/Engineer with a strong background in both control programming and system design. This role combines technical programming skills with design engineering expertise and were looking for a wellrounded professional who can handle both aspects.
Key Responsibilities
- Control Programming: Write and develop Crestron Extron and AMX control system code.
- DSP Code Development: Program and troubleshoot DSP systems.
- System Design Engineering: Review design and build out AV systems from start to finish.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure systems meet client needs and specifications.
- Test and troubleshoot system installations to ensure smooth and effective integration.
- Provide technical support and guidance during system implementation.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in Crestron Extron and AMX control programming.
- Proven expertise in developing DSP code.
- Strong background in AV system design including reviewing and building out systems.
- Comfortable with 50% travel
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CTS Crestron Programmer CTSD) are a plus.
Requirements: University graduate or equivalent experience with further studies in AV installation, data or voice communications, or drafting. Minimum of 4 years' experience in an electrical and/or communications environment. Understanding of project management practices and customer service obligations. Knowledge of electrical, electronic, communications, and computer products and equipment. Proficiency in oral and written English grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Familiarity with building construction and blueprint reading. Experience with the AV Commercial Integrator Navigate system, specifically for change orders and delay notices feedback to the Project Manager. CTS-I Certification Preferred
Education
