Job Description
Description:
- Providing highly specialized senior technical knowledge and coordinating administration monitoring management and implementation of configuration management and automation of processes.
- Providing expertise in working with the right tools and processes to build an efficient and effective automated environment for DevOps.
- Providing expertise in developing and implementing lifecycle management and vulnerability management best practices for Linux and Containerized environments such as Ubuntu and Docker.
- Providing expertise in automation for Linux and Docer infrastructure including the integration with orchestration and automation systems using Ansible Jenkins.
- Providing expertise in configuration management to keep track of software and operating system configurations
- Providing expertise with writing code to replace manual infrastructure provisioning
- Providing expertise with creating automated processes for system monitoring and alerting on downtimes errors and similar events.
- Providing expertise with configuration of containerized applications in enterprise environment
- Providing expertise with VMwarebased virtualization and cloud services such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services
- Delivering high quality technical documentation upgrade documents run books etc
Requirements
Experience and Skill Set Requirements:
Must Haves:
- Able to run scripts and create automations for Start and Start Services on Ubuntu
- Strong knowledge of virtualization platforms including VMware Cisco Hyperflex
- Palo Alto Firewalls Panorama installation configuration daily operation
Skill Set Requirements:
Core Skills:
- Able to run scripts and create automations for Start and Start Services on Ubuntu
- Able to create routing table on Linux Platforms
- Enterprise management of Linux platforms including lifecycle patching monitoring and surveillance.
- Management and monitoring of docker based workloads
- Automation utilizing python ansible and Jenkins
- Experience with network management platforms such as Netbox
- Strong knowledge of virtualization platforms including VMware Cisco Hyperflex
- Cisco 9K SDWAN (Viptela) configuration migration strong troubleshooting experience
- Palo Alto Firewalls Panorama installation configuration daily operation
Technical Skills:
- IPv4/IPv6 experience
- Experience with projects relating to 24x7 critical environments and operations
Communications/Analytical Skills:
- Ability work in agile dynamic environment
- Strong interpersonal written and oral communication skills with the ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
- Able to conduct research into networking issues and products as required.
- Highly selfmotivated and directed with keen attention to detail.
- Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a highpressure environment.
- Strong customer service orientation with proven analytical and problemsolving abilities.
