Job Description
TPF Recruitment is working on behalf of a great local firm of Chartered Accountants based in Maidstone who are looking for an Accounts Asssistant to join their team in a general practice position across accounts tax bookkeeping and VAT. Our client is a multisited firm of chartered accountants and they have been established in the Kent market for many years. Theyre looking for either a part qualified Semi Senior or Somebody who is qualified or studying the AAT ACCA or ACA to join them in a progressive and rewarding career. You will have lots of autonomy and our client will provide study support if required.
You will be responsible for:
- Preparation of statutory accounts to review stage
- Assisting with management accounts production
- Personal taxation corporate taxation and VAT returns
- General bookkeeping duties using Sage Xero or QuickBooks
- Coaching and mentoring junior staff members and trainees
Requirements
- You will have 25 years experience within an accountancy practice
- You will be AAT / ACA/ ACCA qualified or part qualified or qualified by experience
- You will have hands on experience of accounts tax bookkeeping and VAT preparation
Benefits
You will be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 3 years experience within practice. You will have worked as Semi Senior or Senior accountant within practice Experience of Iris and cloud software such as Xero/ Quickbooks would be advantageous
