Job Description

The Dayton School of Medical Massage is seeking a passionate and engaging Massage Therapy Instructor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in massage therapy and will be responsible for delivering highquality instruction to students fostering their development in both theory and practical skills. The instructor will play a key role in shaping the next generation of massage therapists by creating a positive learning environment and promoting best practices in the field.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans and curriculum for massage therapy courses.
  • Provide handson demonstrations and practical training to students.
  • Assess and evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain uptodate knowledge of industry trends and advancements in massage therapy.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation.

Requirements :

  • Minimum of 3 years of handson experience as a licensed massage therapist.
  • Previous teaching or instructional experience in a massage therapy program is preferred but not required.
  • Current state licensure in massage therapy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and student success.
