We are looking for a Business Analyst with expertise in the finance domain particularly in trading to join our team in New Jersey. The candidate will bridge the gap between business and technology gathering requirements analyzing data and ensuring that systems meet business needs. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to support financial/trading applications and requires a combination of functional understanding and strong analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements for financial/trading applications.
- Analyze and define business processes workflows and system functionality to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with IT teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Assist in the design development and testing of new features and functionalities.
- Perform data analysis generate reports and provide insights to support business decisions.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide training to endusers.
- Work with crossfunctional teams to troubleshoot issues and improve system performance.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards in all business processes.
Required Skills:
- 69 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the finance domain with specific exposure to trading systems.
- Strong understanding of financial products trading processes and market regulations.
- Experience in writing business requirements use cases and functional specifications.
- Proficient in data analysis with experience using SQL for querying and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with specific trading platforms and technologies.
- Certifications in business analysis or project management (e.g. CBAP PMP).
- Knowledge of financial risk management practices and compliance requirements.
