Hurricane Relief Workers

Our company tackles some of the toughest projects worldwide and is looking to hire General Workers to
work in the Hurricane Shelters in the Tampa/ St. Petersburg area. These positions are created for
temporary solutions for the disaster that has hit the state of Florida.
As a General Worker this role may include some of the following responsibilities as well as other duties
that are not listed as they are needed:
Work as a receptionist checking people in as they arrive and keeping track as they leave. Be sure
all clients are registered according to appropriate head count.
Provide assistance with food distribution and water.
Provide appropriate cots and bedding for sleeping.
Be available to meet all disaster caused sheltering needs.
Provide services that are accessible to all clients.
Assessing the needs of the shelter and provide good communication and collaboration with
supervisors and team members.
Provide accurate reporting of all activities within the shelter.
Qualifications:
Candidates will be at least 18 years of age.
Candidates should be able to stand for long periods of time be flexible to perform appropriate
duties wherever needed.
Candidates should be a good communicator and able to work under stressful conditions.
Candidates should be patient and be mindful of the situations of the clients.
The pay rate for these positions is $16 17.50 per hour depending on the responsibilities.
