Job Description
Senior Oracle Developer
1. Understanding and writing complex SQL queries
2. Experience with SQL server and Oracle databases specifically experience in transforming native SQL server queries to Oracle Queries
3. Solving migration code issues in Oracle PL/SQL
4. Validation and Reconciliation
5. Basic understanding of Python/R
Oracle 10 years exp

Requirements are as follows:
Client: Confidential Financial Sector
Duration of the contract (start and end date) ASAP until August 2025 1 year option to extend.
Location: Remote Halifax preferred but would consider Ontario east.
Job offers contingent on client background check:
- Candidates will have to go through detailed background check this includes disclosing employer they have worked on for past 5 years.
- Financial associations like securities individual holds.
- If selected associate will have to go get approval before performing any securities trading.
