Title: Sr. Systems Engineer

Location: Onsite in (Fort Worth TX)

Duration: 612 months Contract

Job Description:

Experience:

• 58 years experience preferred
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field OR equivalent experience in infrastructure engineering preferred

Required skills:

• Able to work independently with minimal direction
• Able to analyze troubleshoot diagnose and determine root cause with minimal assistance
• Able to create solutions and implement them with minimal assistance

Technical Skills:

• Windows Desktop and Server
• Ubuntu
• They do not have to have working experience with both Windows and Linux but they will need to work with both.
• 350 laptops
• 100 kiosks
• Working knowledge of networks and networking
• Working knowledge of security protocols
• Patching
• Upgrading and standing up new environments

Typical Duties and Responsibilities:

• Standard 3 days on site more as required.
• Travel up to 25%.
• Implement technical requirements and solutions
• Perform configuration and maintenance of applications and servers
• Maintain system documentation
• Support enterprise application performance management monitoring and logging solutions
• Troubleshoot and support systems and applications across onpremise and physical environments

Desired Skills (mastery):

• Windows Server 2019
• Powershell BASH or similar
• Server virtualization technologies (VMware ESX Server Citrix XenApp Server Microsoft HyperV)
• System monitoring tools (Dynatrace or others)
• SSL technologies (https sftp SSH TLS etc.)

• Windows 10 O/S
• Ubuntu 18
• Storage technologies (SAN and NAS)
• TC/IP Networking
• Network technologies (firewall routing LAN WAN DNS)
