Automation Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Ansible Automation Engineer with experience in Management as a Service (MaaS) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support our cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop automation solutions using Ansible to streamline deployment and management of applications and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements and understand automation needs.
• Implement MaaS solutions to improve resource provisioning orchestration and management processes.
• Develop playbooks roles and modules to automate tasks across multiple environments.
• Ensure best practices in coding version control and documentation of automation processes.
• Monitor and troubleshoot automation workflows to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Provide support for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Participate in architecture and design discussions contributing to the overall automation strategy.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automation and MaaS technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience with Ansible automation and orchestration.
• Handson experience with MaaS platforms (e.g. MAAS OpenStack).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python Bash or PowerShell.
• Understanding of network and system administration concepts.
• Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of configuration management tools (Puppet Chef).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (Git Jenkins Terraform).
