Job Title: Technical Designer (US Citizen Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive technical design documents including system architectures data models and workflows.
- Collaborate with project managers business analysts and developers to gather and analyze project requirements.
- Create highlevel and lowlevel design specifications that clearly outline the technical solutions and implementation plans.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards best practices and company guidelines throughout the design process.
- Participate in design reviews and technical discussions providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to evaluate design proposals.
- Assist in the integration of new technologies and methodologies into existing projects.
- Document and maintain design changes and updates throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide technical support and guidance to development teams during implementation and testing phases.
- Mentor junior team members and provide training on design principles and tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Technology or a related field.
- Experience in technical design software development or a related role.
- Proficiency in design tools such as UML Visio Lucidchart or similar software.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile Waterfall) and best practices.
- Experience in database design and data modeling (e.g. ER diagrams).
- Experience in programming languages (e.g. Java C# Python) and development frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
