Job Description
Job Title: AWS Cloud Engineer (US Citizen Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy scalable secure and reliable AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to integrate cloud solutions with existing systems.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning monitoring and maintenance using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Ensure cloud infrastructure is compliant with security standards and industry best practices.
- Optimize cloud environments for cost performance and scalability.
- Monitor system performance troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the cloud environment.
- Implement cloud security solutions and manage user access controls network configurations and encryption.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines to streamline application deployment in the cloud.
- Stay up to date with new AWS services best practices and tools and make recommendations for continuous improvements.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience with AWS cloud services such as EC2 S3 RDS Lambda VPC CloudWatch and IAM.
- Proficiency in infrastructureascode tools like AWS CloudFormation Terraform or Ansible.
- Experience with containerization (Docker Kubernetes) and orchestration services like ECS or EKS.
- Strong understanding of networking firewalls VPNs and load balancers in AWS.
- Experience in monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch ELK or Prometheus).
- Proficient in scripting and automation using Python Bash or PowerShell.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices including data encryption and access control policies.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (Jenkins GitLab CI/CD etc.).
- AWS Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or equivalent.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
