AWS Cloud Engineer

Job Title: AWS Cloud Engineer (US Citizen Only)

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy scalable secure and reliable AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to integrate cloud solutions with existing systems.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning monitoring and maintenance using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Ensure cloud infrastructure is compliant with security standards and industry best practices.
• Optimize cloud environments for cost performance and scalability.
• Monitor system performance troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the cloud environment.
• Implement cloud security solutions and manage user access controls network configurations and encryption.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines to streamline application deployment in the cloud.
• Stay up to date with new AWS services best practices and tools and make recommendations for continuous improvements.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Experience with AWS cloud services such as EC2 S3 RDS Lambda VPC CloudWatch and IAM.
• Proficiency in infrastructureascode tools like AWS CloudFormation Terraform or Ansible.
• Experience with containerization (Docker Kubernetes) and orchestration services like ECS or EKS.
• Strong understanding of networking firewalls VPNs and load balancers in AWS.
• Experience in monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch ELK or Prometheus).
• Proficient in scripting and automation using Python Bash or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices including data encryption and access control policies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (Jenkins GitLab CI/CD etc.).
• AWS Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or equivalent.
• Federal Experience is a plus.
• Required Security clearance.
